Dog food

Been talking with an old cow hand.  And he was telling me that he feed all his cow dogs grind corn mix with cooking greese. Was wondering if anyone feed them it. And the pros and cons of it.

   back years ago we cooked our own feed from corn meal and butcher scraps . all our dogs were slick and healthy , but I wouldn't go thru it again for nothing .
