Some of yall may know this and some of yall may not.  If you got a flea problem go to the feed store and buy you a 50 lb bag are two are three how ever many you need of Stock Salt .  Get out there in the kennels are the chain spaces and just start throwing handfuls of this stuff .  All in the chain spaces all over the ground in the dog houses were ever fleas may hide .  Do each chain space , kennel what ever and I promise you in a week to two weeks your flea problem will be over are in damn good control .  It kills the eggs by dehydrating  them and it kills the fleas by cracking their shells and then dehydrating them .  Its the best thing since sliced bread !!!!!!!!!!! O and it is 5 bucks for a 50 lb bag.  It also will run ever other kinda pest off are kill them ticks included !

I done this as a experiment about a month and a half ago fleas were about to carry me away over here the permertricin was useless .  So I went at it with the salt and bro and sisters I aint got a flea problem one now !

That's what I mean man .  5 bucks for a 50 lb bag it goes a long long way man for a man that has more than a few dogs are don't have the big bucks for all them expensive pills and stuff and so far am seeing great results here on my place .  Another thing I like is it is all natural not some chemical running threw your dogs veins and poison on the ground .

Man I don't know Mike.....I bet it just might .  That stuff is pretty potent when you put a lot of it out.  I aint seen nothing in my chain links since.  What impressed me the most is you know how there is always a spot are two on the yard that you just cant seem to get rid of the fleas .  Just bad bad spots well I got a kennel that is like that I have put everything known to man in there and it might help for a min then its over.  About a month are over a month ago I put this salt down and the fleas were up on my legs I was in a pair of shorts that's how bad they were.  Two weeks later I went in there with no shoes and shorts just to see not a flea one no were on me anywhere.  Now a month are so later its clean as a whistle .  Try it on them ants ...

Thanks for the info Mr. Jimmy. I'm gonna try this out, I've got the fleas knocked down at the house but they are still here and there. Gonna pick up a bag or 2 this week. The permethrin doesn't do a bit of good at my place either.

Also the first time I salted the chain spaces I took 7 dust and dusted my dogs at the same time I threw the salt out.  That was the only time I have dusted the dogs.  Great results here.

I musta had the vietcong fleas. Salted mine several years ago and think they were just licking it and drinking margaritas.

Burned oil and diesel wouldn't even touch them.  Finally went with the advice given and tried the comfortis pills. Total clean out......Truthfully never saw the like in all my days of foolin with dogs. Been a complete year now without a single flea and haven't had to give any more pills except the one dose.

Been on comfortis for two doses now with mixed results. Some dogs it works really well on and others it only lasts a few days then covered in fleas again with no dead fleas on them. Still have fleas bad enough to run you out of the kennels if you are wearing shorts.
