I tell ya its a cryin ass shame how people are these days.  I got a buddy that has done spent about 2000 bucks on suppose to be bad ass hog dogs.  Well he goes and buys this suppose to be sho nuff wrecking machine kinda dog on a boar hog.  Goes out this morning takes his two find dogs and the suppose to be hog wrecking machine and his bulldog .  Gets on this bad bad boar hog this bay  dogs got him stopped turns his bulldog loose bulldog goes in hits gets a ear but this is a bad bad big boar so he unsnaps the Sho Nuff Hog Wrecking Machine  he takes off gets about 20 yards from the action does a U Turn and comes right back to the wheeler .  In the mean time the boar hog is wrecking his catch dog and two bay dogs because his find bay dogs are not that ruff .  The boar throws his bulldog breaks his jaw in half cuts one find bay dog and kills the other.  I don't know who this guy is he bought this dog from but he is one more mad mad man and to tell you the truth I would be to but again if you don't know these people and you are buying a sho nuff hog dog wrecking machine you had damn well better see them in the woods with your  own eyes before you hand over your hard earned cash !!!!!!!!!!!  He is one more pissed off man and the boy aint anwserned his phone yet but am more than damn well willing to ride with him to go find this guy and get the get right deal rolling ...............Un damn real people !  This aint the old days I can tell you that because a man that does that kinda chit would never be seen again thrown in a Alligator slew and the deal would have been done no questions asked .

Had a buddy bought a strike dog awhile back from a guy that told him he was silent on trail. He ran him a few nights later . The dog would strike but trail barked the whole time and wouldn't stop a hog we spent all night chasing the dog. Got a good feeling the kid knew he trail barked. Anyhow the kid did the right thing a gave the money back. But the only thing my buddy lost was gas money. The dog had a lot of hunt just wouldn't stop a hog.would any of y'all keep this type of dog?

It would depend on how bad I need a dog that would find a hog.  Sometimes some things out weigh the others until you can get it in order like you want it .  If I didn't have dogs that would find a hog I might would have over looked that for a while but then again I cannot stand a open mouth dog .  As long as they are silent looking for the hog and then when they find it open up and if the hog breaks I can stand them churping on the trail behind him if they are seeing him but as soon as they loose sight of him I want them silent again .  That's just me tho lots of different ways .

I hate to hear that man BUT that right there is why it is said over and over and over on this site and multiple others about trying before you buy! Alotta no good guys out there just looking to make a dollar and screw over anyone they can.

If u can't deal with folks u know never buy a dog that don't have flaws. U may think I'm crazy but every dog I ever got that I was told had flaws turned out better than promised. The folks that get burned are the ones that buy these "top notch sho nuff " dogs.

Hate to here ur buddy got some dogs wrecked in this deal. Y'all are in Texas and a hog can be hauled alive. Never hurts to get a look befor the chips are down.

I wouldn't buy a truck, 4 wheeler, motor cycle or any other vehicle before driving it.

I wouldn't buy some jeans without trying them on.

I wouldn't buy a house before looking at it multiple times and testing everything that I wanted to.

I cant think of anything that I would just buy without seeing it, knowing about it or trying it. I didn't buy my Garmin stuff until I saw others use thiers.

If you go and buy a dog without trying it and it doesn't do what the person said it would do, who is really blame?  I think it is unreal that this is so commonly talked about on here and still people are out there buying junk without seeing it work.

It's a real shame how many dishonest people there are out there nowadays.
I hate to say it, but if I ever did bother to buy a dog from someone that's supposed to be a good one, I'd be tagging along with that person and watching that dog work with my own eyes before handing over any money. I see people warn others on here about that all the time. That's terrible that his dogs got wrecked.

If the dog was a catch dog, and he paid that amount of money for it, I would have wanted to see it in action first. 

A bad catch dog will get my good dogs killed. 

I've learned something over the last 20 years of dealing with dogs for every sport, if it's for sale, there is a reason behind it.  Not saying it's a bad thing, but I run hogs with dogs, if I have a dog for sale, there is probably a reason for it.  The dogs I've sold, I've been completely honest with the people, but they ended up working like they want a dog to work.

Dogs sometimes need time to adapt to new people, dogs, areas. Some all the "new" has no affect and some it does. I bought a dog and gave a good bit without seeing him go. I trusted the guys word and all the others I talked to about the dog, and still do. However the dog hasn't performed to his ability with me. I have a buddy that sold a dog to a guy in Florida. The dog is a good dog, I've seen what he can do. However, with his new owner he won't look at a hog. Dogs aren't machines. Not everyone is out to screw someone. Doesn't seem to be the case here if your buddy is getting his money back.
