Does anyone hunt this cross? I have a young gsp/bmc cross male I bought early spring. I don't know much about a bird dog but I've hunted with bmc's all my life. People seemed to be pleased with the cross so I got one to try this winter.
I would like to see your pics of tthis cross with some knowledge about them as well.
Thanks

Hdogs...I don't have any experience in this cross but if it is from the right line of cur and GSP the possibility is there to have a great dog...

Training dogs is not about quantity, it's more about timing, the right situations, and proper guidance...After that it's up to the dog... A hunting dog is born not made...

I raised a litter 5 years ago. Of the three I kept I ended up culling two on disposition and the other one was on his his way to being a true superstar. He was a better cow dog than hog dog but once he did hook up to hogs he was a great one but unfortunately he was taken to soon. From the others in the litter I kept up with most of them made decent dogs. Mine could go all night and half the next day couldn't hardly wear him out Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
