got away

We always post wat we catch ,but never the times we come home without a hog,we got up at 3 this morning,wife cooks bacon biscuit gravy,we have a good meal,load nutty,peanut.find dogs,vest my 2 dogos,load up,head to the river,i have nutty rigging,we jist ticking along go mybe 300 yrds,tell candace think we just cast c wat they find,they hit the ground scratching,pissing.nutty and peanut pull out,were just sitting around watching garmin,there making loops at 300, then get to 500 ,600. 700 800.start bk,they hit everything around us.takes mybe hr,no barks.i call them load them up,go up mybe a mile,as i cast the sun is rising ,they do the same hunt there butt off but no strike.around 8 we head for home,my daughter says iam glad we didnt catch a hog,i said why she said. Cause wen we get home i can go bk to bed cause we dont have to skin a hog,by the way happy fathers day.she is 22 and been with me hunting since she was 5 ,ive tied more hogs with her than any man.ive never had to wonder were she was.good hunting..hogs won today...we be back.
