Anyone have any thoughts or opinions on the firestorm that the Texas cheerleader is catching over her big game, African hunts?

This being a hunting forum I am curious to see peoples thoughts.

The photos are tastefull and all game was taken legally. She has done nothing wrong. The antis attacked another gal over this same thing a few months back. I find it interesting they keep attacking the ladies who enjoy hunting.  Why are they not jumping on the men. I'm sure far more men are hunting Africa than women. I suggest if they want to stop hunting in Africa they go talk to the government in those countries. I'm pretty sure that will go over like a fart in church.

She should politely tell them go f theirselves and pull their lower jaw over their head and swallow. They got to much time on their hands to troll the web looking for some1 to torment bc they do what enjoy and putting food on hy helier families table. The antis should drink that special kool-aid and wait on the comet to take them away

It's disturbing to me to know I share oxygen with these people who insist on bitching and crying and whining over hunting omg. Wtf has this country come to? We hunted to survive in the beginning of time....a lot of people still hunt to live now. I can't stand the direction that the general publics dispositions have gone to nowadays. I sometimes almost wish an economic shutdown would happen....
With no more grocery stores or fast food joints, they'd be BEGGING us big bad hunters to teach them a thing or two so that they didn't starve to death

That mrs krystal (your last statement) is exactly what this country and the world needs. A complete economic collapse to where the might $ is rendered useless and we hav to go back to basic survival skills and needs. That would allow on the strong and those with natural survival skills to survive.

These folks make me sick,, do they not understand that conservation in Africa is  hugely paid for by hunting fees. One hunt , with game fees and processing, shipping fees can raise over 100k.  And dont forget, usually the meat is donated to local villages. But those jack azz's would rather the native populations go hungry and the country lose $$ than have an animal harvested. Hunters supply more $$ to these countries than any combination of eco nut groups, i guarantee.  Last,  the eco kooks are so frikin arrogant, like they know best for the animals and people in Any particular African country. But thise country's do study their game populations and decide each yr how many of each species needs harvested.  Oh, but the little animals are soooo pretty, and when i was a kid, i saw a disney movie and the lions talked and on another disney movie the deer talked and u cant KILL BAMBI!!!  You do know that the girl has a TV show coming out right ? Her agent got the antis on her to gain support. Very smart move on the agents part. Sponsors and fans are coming out of the woodwork !

I read it was all done tastefully.  The rhino was actually a "green hunt" and the bodies were given to locals. People are losing their mind threating her with murder, so whose really the sicko in this story? But why post those pix then cry about being bullied? Her responses to critic isn't impressive. Just seems to be another case of made up "rich girl problems".

The heck with the locals. If I paid that much for a hunt, I would be having rhino ribeye for supper. Im fine with people who disagree with hunting.......but only if they are vegan, do not own leather products, do not drive a car, do not slap moquitos, do not poison ants, and only eat what they forage from the forrest foliage.  Otherwise they are just mouthy, obnoxious,  hypocrites.

just a ball park figure...

25% of the population hunt and fish including sporting doggers of all types...15% of the population are anti' hunters/gunners and most of these are extreme tree huggers...

so that leaves 60% of the population that are in the middle who can easily be swayed voting in favor of the anti's due to lies and/or negative publicity whether true or perceived...

I hope that one day the NRA, hunters of all types including bow hunters and doggers, fisherman and trappers, will unit as one so we can take away the control that the anti's are gaining and we can then become what controls the votes and will become the group that all will listen to...including politicians and the media...

Just another reason i dont do fb anymore. Every time a panty wearing bed wettin fella gets his feelins hurt, zuckerburg takes their side. I dont like zuckerburg anyway , he's all in for floodin the U.S. With illegals so he can have cheap labor , but he dont care that it just further hurts middle class by suppressing wages . Its nice to be able to keep up with relatives, bit it aint worth supporting zuckerburg & his liberal ideas to me
