Looks real to me, doesnt appear to have been photoshoped although the way the pic was taken was for max effect, the trees way back in background, he appears to be holding it but head is leaned back and way............clearly a very big animal regardless of how the photo was taken.

I hope its real!!!!

I have seen the devastation 1st hand that wolves have had on the elk and deer populations in Idaho.

The only way I am going back to hunt that country is with a wolf tag in my pocket!

I think it sure could be real.  i've seen plenty of wolves well over a hundred pounds when i lived in alaska.  A stretching board for a wolf hide is usually eight feet long I think.  it does look a little odd for some reason, but wolves are a lot bigger than I thought they would be.

I'm from Utah, and one of the wolves from Yellowstone moved all the way down to Utah in the mountains near my house (it was tagged and had a radio collar) several hundred miles. When they caught that thing I thought it looked like a freaking grizzly bear, it probably weighed a 140 lbs.

I got the same pic in a e-mail but this was the story I received>>>

This is a picture of a wolf that was killing livestock in the Sun Valley, Idaho area and was shot. Idaho Fish and Game says there are three different wolf packs in the area.  Each pack has from 8 to 15 adult wolves in it. Now you can understand why ranchers in the area are upset about the reintroduction of those "cute little wolves". You may now understand how a pack can wipe out herds of elk and cattle.
