very nice set up sir, I am planning on building a set very similar in the near future. I also would like to know what you do about waste as it is one of my primary concerns at this time as well.

With the above ground kennels I would just hose it out the back and put lime over it from time to time. It hardly ever smelled.
With the concrete slab I was going to install a septic, but decided not too due to cost. I may do it eventually. So I scoop it up and put it in a designated bucket with a garbage bag and lid and put it in trash once a week. I also still spray out with hose when I dont feel like scooping. And when I mow the lawn I just put mower on lowest setting when I mow behind kennels.
I feed sportsmix 24/20 and I have been giving all the dogs probiotics (thanks Thomas). With this they only make one stool a day and its hard which makes easy to clean. I also let all the dogs run everyday and for the most part they will just empty out then instead of in the kennels which means I hardly have any cleanup.

I'm getting settled slowly but surely! I miss Georgia alot though! friends, family, farm, trees lol I really miss having my own private gym! I have not found my own spots yet, but I have met a few really good guys. I owe a big Thanks to t-dog (Thomas Harris) for letting me tag along with him. He has some really good dogs and shares very similar opinions as I do. Taz what ever happened to Bo?

I sold him a couple years ago. Got tired of him attacking all the other dogs in my yard! Had a big fight when I was not there and my wife had to deal with it! That was it for him! Tough decision, but it was the right one to do.
I bought Zipper (Campbell bloodline of Fl Curs) and that was the best choice I have made! Crossed that bloodline into my dogs, really helped me get what I was wanting in my dogs! Got the size back up, maintained the hunt and grit, and made better built dogs. My last litter was spectacular! Blaze, the pup I kept is a one dog show and he is only 18mo old, and the rest are working on cattle or hogs! Just bred Blaze (before he gets himself killed) back to his mom Fancy, will keep a male and female, and if the female makes the cut, she will be bred back to her granddad Zipper at a later time.
Good luck to you in Texas!

That is a nice set up u got there. R those tsc kennels? If not, where did u get the individual panels? Im fixing to set for a 5 spot crete kennel with a feed shed corner and looking for ideas on 10x10 individ kennels. Im thinking of build each panel out of #8 wire n weaving n welding myself but thats gonna b very time consuming so i need ideas

Thanks, they are from tarter. You can get them from tsc and other dealers. Do not get the other brands from tsc as they dont stand the the test of time. Welding them would be a chore but would probably save you some dollars. I am planning on building a wooden platform the stretches across the kennels to put houses up off ground. I will eventually put in a feed/storage shed.

What did u pay panel or per 10x10 kennel? A 10x10 at tsc is nearly $500 n are not on the tax exempt list.

Honestly I can't remember, exact price but it was less than 400 per kennel with coupons about 3 years ago. I bought 3 full 10x10's and a 1 double door pannel and 1 extra pannel.

Looks good. I use the scoop and bucket method myself. Take a couple minutes longer, but is keeps the smell down and back of the kennels clean.
