I wanted to get the dogs out one more time before I went to Toronto for my buddies race. So I loaded up the dogs and my buddy and we hit the woods by 6:15am. We have been getting alot of rain this month, we already have are average for the month, 7.5" and its not even half way done. The woods were flooded and it took us about a 1.5 mile walk to find grounfd dry enough to get us into my hunting area! Cut the dogs loose and it was a long wet walk!! The dogs worked hard to get this sow and boy was I happy to just hear a caught hog!! We walked 12 miles through the water and it was hot and humid. Dogs on the hunt were Gator, Blaze, and Clyde. Poor Clyde has not been on a hog in months and the poor guy is as frustrated as a high school boy on prom night. When my buddy went to leash him up and come to me and the hog, Clyde grabbed his pocket on his pants and gave him a look like what about me!! LOL.. http://youtu.be/CoRaSLF11HI?list=UUV-2tt6NXdBzsuGRC8fO8Wwhttp://youtu.be/oc3ErDBZIN0?list=UUV-2tt6NXdBzsuGRC8fO8Ww

Judge P. There are game trails throughout the 20,000 acre property as well as firebreak trails that are serviced maybe 1x a year. The rest of the property is old Florida land with over grown palmetto thickets, cypress swamps, and a couple rivers running through the property! As far as the clean video comment, I do not understand what you mean by that?? Nothing clean about my hunts, I come out wet, dirty, pulling ticks off, chigger bit, and sometimes foul language, but worth the time in the woods with my dogs and friends though!!

Nice! Are you in north, central or south FL? I lived in central FL all my life until about five yrs ago. I used to hunt in Pasco county a lot.

Thanks for the compliments on my dogs!
Mrs. La. We do have some hogs in Pasco Co, depending on where you hunt. Just wish sometimes I had a spot I could drive on and not have to be a foot soldier!! Lol...

Good hunt Guy. You should get some muletape. It will be faster to tie them. I have never used them hobble things.

Jimmy I have mule tape with me, I sometimes use it and sometimes use the hobbles. I have had hogs stand up on me with the mule tape, but never with the hobbles. Maybe that's why I wear slip on shoes, because I can not tie knots well!! Lol...

I half hitch each leg. The only knot I have in it is on the last leg.

I use a 2.5 ft piece of mule tape. Fold in half, wrap around a leg, pull the two ends back through the loop, then back over the next leg, separate the two ends on each side of the tape, come over the mule tape cinch tight then tie it off. Easier to show then to explain. Works just like hand cuffs.
I use to just tie a bunch of square knots, and that's when they would stand up with one leg out, and the wrestling match was on!! Lol....
