   it appears the muck boot company is in bed with the h$u$  and is holding fund raisers for them . this is totally unacceptable for a company that sells it's products to hunters , farmers , ranchers , fishermen , ect. ect. let them know how you feel buy going to their facebook page as well as suppliers that sell their product . it's time to boycott any company that sells the product from them . power in numbers !!!!!!!!!!

  they are organizing a boot burn at the AUTUM OAKS coon hunt coming up soon I hope they televise it  lol .

We would like to respond to our loyal customers and provide additional information about recent posts on social media regarding a monetary donation to a local animal care organization. Our post inaccurately stated that a donation was made to The Humane Society of the United States (HSUS). Moreover, the post itself was inappropriate under the circumstances.

 Family members of an employee who recently passed away requested that, in lieu of flowers, co-workers donate funds to the Humane Association of Northwestern Rhode Island, a local association founded in 1978 to solve community issues primarily related to stray cats. They are not affiliated with HSUS as the posts incorrectly stated.

 The money is not a corporate donation, but a collection of personal contributions from employees with the intent of remembering a beloved co-worker. While our intentions were good, the use of corporate social channels under these circumstances was inappropriate.

 Muck Boots has a heritage of respect for the outdoors and for nature. We apologize for the anger and confusion the posts have caused and have removed them from our social channels

Money wasted in someone's memory, 90% went to the company that does their mass marketing . 9% into offshore retirement funds, 1 % to what little direct animal care they "claim" and some of those claims are shady. Probably more goes into their pockets than and retirements than 9%.  I hate HSUS. They steal contributions from actual, local humane societies, who put the majority of donations towards helping animals, while preying on the confusion their name imparts, hsus, does nothing for animals directly. Special place in hades for those people

I agree with amokabs. I also would say their responce is a knee jerk reaction to all the negative media attention. Its a big coincedence that they claim it was a typo. BULLCHIT!!!!

It's also funny that the shelter they claim the benefit was for claims they have never received anything from muck. Also if it was money from individuals why was the pic with piles of their boots not an envelope full of cash or checks .
