We caught a boar that had been barr and both ears cut off at skull.he cutt some dogs but didnt kill any.we took him out so nobody elses dogs would get cutt up.dont no way ppl are that sorry to do that.its not a joke.so to all my ethd around bonham becareful.

If hunters are mad at another hunter take up with each other not on the dogs

I have seen a few like that more than likely his ears where pulled off by dogs or by him fighting other hogs

He was barred and the ears were smooth an round perfect circle.
Ferris it was a new place not one I hunt all the time. Farmer dont let anybody hunt it he says

Pigs do travel. Come on if a hunters worried about his dog getting hurt he might want to consider another way of hog hunting. I mean what would of happened if the guy that cut his ears left the pig a gun also. Not trying to b an ass but that happens everywhere. I've caught many of pigs with no ears. Just makes the game interesting for me to see if my dogs r able to catch hogs with no ears. And they've proved to me they can.

The purpose of me saying this was to worn other hunter s.I dont worrie about dogs dieing.they make more.but to do this for international to hurt a mans dogs
I believe they marked him wen they barred him.

I have heard of trappers doing it to make the hog a dog killer

There are folks around our area that do and have been doing the same.......its chicken chit but it is what it is, just gotta roll with it i reckon

Have ran in to this a few times not so much in farm country but in the hill country we catch 2 r 3 a yr with no ears,what i was told long time a go,the barr some get cut off,cause some one is mad at somebody for hunting there land,i c it most being done by the guy that thinks he owns every hog,and only he can catch them,the old folks in my neck of the woods say hog thief ,with both ears cut off,you c alot one ear hogs ,and other ear tore up from dogs.i have seen both ears pulled off by dogs,wen its done on purpose round here ,the top teeth are knocked out.good hunting.

90 % of the barrs that are barred and ears cut off,were trap caught cause there dogs cant catch them.i hope mybe one day the folks cutting ears off,catch one in a deep ditch. Just mybe they will wake up if they have to carry thete whole pack out.cut to hell and back.nothing wrong with planting the seed,but cutting both ears,is a cowart.

Its 8000 acres.nobody owns the hogs.they dont let any hogdogger hunt it.

Sorry, you said that someone cut the hog's ears off in order to put your dogs in danger.  Just knida figured someone obviously hunted them hogs and if you don't cut the ears off of hogs in your hunting spots then an easy solution would be hunt YOUR spots and stay out of another man's hunting spot.


Sorry wasn't trying to be smart, it just seems pretty simple to me.

Cantexduck yes I've caught several without ears. He'll there's many of hogs out there with no ears just like there's many of hogs with no nuts. Barr them to make them bigger. No ears cause they've been chewed off and somebody didn't catch the hog. Am I forgeten something oh yea M Bennett no I don't know everything but I know enough.

No one ownes any wild animal except at the time it is on his property if there one mans he needs to get a better fence.  And don't see why any one who hunts with dogs would do that. On a different note one time me and my boy went on a hunt cought a nice boar bout 150 lost my break stick so I cut the ear off tied the bull dog to a tree tied the hog went to the wheeler with the dogs came back hog was gone it could be him lol but he wasn't cut

I didn't take it as you are hunting someone else's hogs... I see it as they need to stop hunting YOUR area. If your the only dogger allowed to run it then apparently someone else is just trying to be an a$$.
