check your local laws. i know here in california/ in my area anyway, some spca officers are also state humane officers and actually have an easier time to come on your property than some other leo do.

yep what it all boils down to in this day and age is to keep your dogs and livestock in a condition that you would welcome ANYBODY to come and take a look . not only will it keep you out of trouble but makes life a lot easier and less stress full .   is my yard that way all the time , NO  but I am working on it everyday to make it so  .   just have to face the fact's that this is the way our world is .  don't like it , then get involved with an organization fighting to right the wrongs the animal rights NUTS  have placed upon us .

In my state the humane orgs have more leeway than a leo. If they feel that the animal is in danger they can come on your property without a warrant. It's a sorry state of affairs when a private org has more rights than leo's or private citizens. ASPCA and HSUS are out of control in this country!

Half breed I'm not sayen that was directed towards me anykind of bad way. But my dogs are who I am! I do everything I can to make sure there in great shape. And if it was just any ole everyday person looking for a dog or pup, sure there welcome to come to my yard. But the spca, peta, hsus or any other group that wants to limit or control what I have and what I do can kick rocks. And there not welcome on my yard. Just for the record, I do support and a member of the tdha and cpl other group of fine folks doen what we can.

lol  no I wasn't directing any ill will your way chris . I was just stating the state of the union we live in now and how it is for all of us . and what we have to do in general in this day and age . it sucks for us all .

these idiots don't want barrels for dog houses and don't want dogs on chains ect. ect. ect. and if they have their way we wont be able to afford to keep a dog outside the house . we are a large group of individuals here in texas and we need to be a larger collective group to combat this nonsense . and as such I was speaking to the group in general .  the fight is in Austin and Washington with paperwork and numbers , not in the front yard with baseball bats and bullets   lol

p.s.  when I'm talking to you you'll know it !!!   i'll be the one standing on a ladder so I can look you in the eyes   lmao .

I believe there is a lot of truth to this statement.  I don't know what the rules are in each state; I don't even know what the rules are in my own state.  I guess I don't really care to know the rules, because I keep my dog kennels and my dogs in good shape.  The get cleaned daily, watered daily, and fed daily.  You wont see bones on any of my dogs with the exception of some rib bones during the height of hunting season.  When you look at my dogs you see more muscle than bone.  My yard is clean and dog houses are in good shape.  No piles of dog poop.  Roofs over the dog kennels and the kennels are in shade.  I keep tarps  rolled up at the ends of the kennel so that I can unroll them anytime and provide instant  shade or block cold wind.  I'm not trying to brag, but if an agent wants to look at my kennels or something else, they can have at it.  I have a feeling they will look ay my set up and think that there time may be better spend going after someone else.

Another thing is, they don't know about what they cannot see.  If you have your business out where everyone can see, maybe you could consider concealing what you have.
