Hey I know it's prolly been asked 10000000 times but I never raised them tell now from pups and I got one that is 10 months old and was wondering when y'all start y'all and when dose there teeth set

I would start taking him now just not let him catch I would walk him in to a caught hog as much as you can this will pay off later there teeth usely set 12 to 18 months they are plenty strong to hold at yr I just would let him catch with another one so he don't have to do it on his own till he gets to where he needs to be

That was my plan to judge but I wanted to make sure she wouldn't pull her teeth out right off the bat but the plan was to send my finished catch dog and then listen for the catch then send her thing is there won't be no ear left for her to catch if I do that

Lol I hear y'all most bulldogs don't need much work to catch it's all the other stuff that if addressed early will pay off big time down the road

That's right Judge I may take her on some hunts with like maybe 3 bay and a catch that way she not forced to catch the ass

I believe Mr peel means , handle , socialization ,  braking off cows , ect , every bulldog I've owned has always caught , no hurry for that , but teaching the dog to be well mannered , socialized around tons of dogs ect is what's important for a year or so , catching never was a problem for my dogs

Bob ur right on that one I work on that dang near every day I was just woundering when to start catching hogs like what age bob but thanks for that it is so nice knowing there is dog men still out there
