Warrent423 yes sir I agree. Onocee and Lt so what you two are saying is that your dogs once they strike no matter the distance or the hog they bay up 100 % of the time ? If so I call bs there are lots of folks on here with the same caliber of dogs that you are talking about. Now I can say this most of my dogs will fall back after a mile or so and that's fine with me cuz they are super rough but my best dog will not he will rival any dog any distance not saying he is better just saying what he does time in and out. Lt if those dogs are so kick ass why you always getting pigs from me and Brandon ? And if the ranger can go to every bay you should have a pen full of hogs just saying bro

I've told you it's not my dog about 10 times now. But yeah I've never seen her quit a hog. Point blank period. And I get shoats from you bcuz my dogs kill them and I have puppy's. And the one boar you brought over you gave it too me. Worked your dogs on it bcuz I have a pen & you don't I guess. So don't try too call me out. I haven't bragged on my dogs at all. So don't get but hurt about your "rough" dogs + flash that get out ran by those tough hogs on the chambers. It's been all fun & games but don't try too put words in my mouth. Cuz like I said people have good dogs. She's special. And if you wanna see her be my guest and you'll say the same damn thing. She's not even my dog and I talk about her like this so what's that got too say.

Lt not trying to stir up any thing you said no one has expiranced that kind of dog and we don't understand how good the dog is I get it the dog is awesome I won't disagree on that don't know the dog. Haha what??? First off I didn't cuss hunter one time!!!! I just told him to keep my name out of his mouth because he dragged me into a subject that I wasn't even involved in just because I was with Steve when he sold the dog to him doesn't mean I had anything to do with it and land owner??? I have kept quiet for a while on this board for a while because every time I voice my opinion I get a bashin. But to me range doesn't matter at all as long as the dog finds hogs. Now as far as the other stuff is concerned if you think all places are equal you are thinking wrong. Some places hogs bay some the hogs ruuuuunnnn. If anyone thinks they have the type of dog that can stop a runner I will gladly invite you to SHOW you otherwise. There have been a ton of posts about rcd's but what is that dog gonna do when the hogs take off before it gets there?? These posts crack me up... show me please and I will buy all you have. Lmfao!!!!

Peachcreek you are right every place hunts different hogs bay and hogs run some run far some run short. Rcd can't do much of anything if they ain't in front of the hog and no dog can do anything if they run and can't stay with em but speed and gritt can make a difference. A good dog should do fair in any condition but a little expirance and common sence will tell ya don't take a big heavy dog to wide open country or a slow dog where they run some dogs might flip the scrip but know what your dog can do and knowing your terrain sure helps. I have always wanted to hunt down that far just anit made it

Alright Peachcreek I got one too try,say when and where. Just bull number 2ting ya , I think the judge said it a few post ago His Best dog got a lil bottom too him , if you got one with bottom he should show good anywhere if they bay quick no big deal if they wanna run even better ,but I can guarantee you ain't gonna to wanna be on foot trying too stay with theses runners Peach Creek is talking about , ain't gonna happen

I think all the talk about range is something people come with after the garmin , if you gotta a good dog he is gonna range to where the game is as for as the long range dogs passing up hogs , that's a cull

Sometimes I have to laugh to keep from crying!!! LOL First of all Judge Pee I never said anything about MY dogs at all and I damned sure never said anything about 100%. All I ever said was if a dog will not run a long AS LONG AS HE CAN then he cannot be considered a GOOD dog. IMO IMO IMO IMO IMO Am I clear now? Anyone can hunt whatever dog they want but I will NEVER call a dog the quits after a mile or so a GOOD dog and that's all this is about.
The truth is about 70% of hogs and bear can be treed/bayed by a pack of mediocre dogs and that's a good percentage to go home with on a daily basis in anyone's books. Now as for the other 30%!!! About 10% percent of them will never bay/tree which leaves 20% if my math hasn't failed me. If you want to see that 20% it will take GOOD dogs Now my numbers will definitely be victim to the area but the point is there is a small percent anywhere you hunt that will take another class of dog. So Judge pee just keep tuning a truck load of alligators loose in a thicket full of hogs and bragging about your barnburners. I could care less but I have my OPINIONS and this is a public message board so I will post them when I feel the need to. Just don't put words in my mouth, please.
Now then, I will have to agree with Peachcreek. If anyone thinks they have the "runner stopper" they just haven't turned him loose on the right hog. And by the way, the "it don't take GOOD dogs 6 miles or 6 hrs to bay or tree game" is the biggest load of BS I've ever heard. Just because you never seen the end of a 6 hr race don't knock the kind of dogs that finish them. Oh and before anyone gets mad and calls me out, I only have two dogs, a corgi and one plott that's not much. All I'm saying is I have seen good dogs in my life and know what they can do.
