FOLLOW UP : the beast is still in the woods. Our friends dog tank struck a real nice hog about 300 yds behind the feeder where this picture was taken but it broke when the rest of the pack showed up. It sounded like a cow running threw the brush. After a 900 yard run they shut it down in the switch cane for about 5 minutes but as we were approaching it broke again and the dogs eventually got all spread out in the thick stuff and struck a sounder of hogs. Once that happened we knew the original hog had given us the slip. We'll never know if that was the big one but I'm telling all my friends it was. LOL  |
