Anyone use Valbazen to worm dogs with and does it work for you?

I use it but recently I noticed that one of my gyps who was nursing pups had worms and even though I gave her the Valbazen she still had them so I just now switched to the safeguard goat wormer stuff. It seems to have gotten rid of the worms that the valbazen did not.

i use valbazen with about 10-15cc ivomec mixed in. worm puppies and adults and have had nothin but success.  worm a 60 lb dog around 2cc's

same for me 500cc valbazen with 15 - 22 cc of ivomec mixed in 2-4 cc per avg sized cur even gets heart worms...read aout it on kdsblackmouthcurs.com under puppy health

Sorry I forgot I posted here.  I just had dogs that still got worms.   It didn't have any bad side affects or anything.  I used it for about 2 years with good results then it seemed to just quit working.

may try alternating your wormer.  Most guys with horses rotate worming paste.  Some wormers cover  a certain few worms while another brand covers the ones the first left out.

i also have had sucess with it mixed w/ivomectin did have acouple get tape worms gave them a good dose of fabendazole sp.? horse wormer cleared them right up.

i got some safeguard horse wormer paste the other day and was wondering how much to give my dogs. it a dial with a locking ring and it starts a 0 then goes to 250pds - 500pds - 750pds and so on. where od i put the stop for my dogs

 fabendazole WILL NOT kill tape worms. That is the main ingredant in SafeGaurd wormer.

Febendazole works on the Taenia Species of tape worm but not the common tapeworm.i read on their site
