if you dog runs deer...correct me if i'm wrong scott...you can dip the estrus(not deer lure) all over the towel...put in in the yard when the dog goes up to the towel you hit him with the shocker. when a dog runs a deer in the woods what does he see? the white tail, so the dog sees white and smells deer and knows he better go away...hopefully when the hit the trail they just stay away from it all together...sounds like a great idea to me, so i'm going to try it...

There are many different methods what may work for some  may not work for another just depends on the individual situation. An old feller I know uses this method for " Hard Heads " is a 55 gallon drum with the top cut out one hole in each side of the open end now tie a rope in each end about 10' long tie the ithe end of the ropes in a tree or i tie mine to a rafter in the barn insert  in barrel squit doe in estrus on top of dogs nose and inside barrel spin barrel around twisting ropes tight and turn her loose fast spinning makes dog sick and he relates being sick to the deer smell should only take once or twice in extream cases(Works seen the results). Also and old fox hunter once told me he raises his pups in a pin with Barbiedoe sheep says the smell like a deer and the oils from the sheep keep fleas away keeps dog from running deer cause they are use to the smell he swares by it.

got my shocker today...got one of the top end shockers for only $80(it normally goes for 280)..you can tell it's been used, but it works fine. also it didn't come with the collar, they normally just use dayglo collars anyway so i plan to just put my normal collar through the holes. can't wait to start tuning them up.
