Well, it took me all of Easter weekend-and then some. It's done though, finally!! lol. It's about 38'x22'. Planted are cucumbers, kentucky wandering pole beans, mustard greens, different peppers, zuchinni, squash, tomatoes, 2 sunflowers(neice snd nephews request, lol), and cantelopes. will be planting onions, okra and a strawberry plant(neice request) later on. Thanks Lavon for all your advice on this, i know I will have a better garden because of it!  Grin

my walkthrough

cantelope mound

see Lavon, rows are nice and straight!  Wink

That really looks niceFARMER SEAN,,i HAVE 2 QUESTIONS,,
1. How are you gonna keep the deer out of your garden   ?
answer ,,,Tie MIKES best hog dog at the graden.....hee---hee---hee
2.Is that a walkway in the middle or a row with something planted ?

I like your cucumber and pole bean fence,,, thats the way its done. show us pic later of that fence when its covered with vege's..

good job,,,FARMER SEAN,,, Are you (out for hire) in the garden maken business Huh?

Later on ,,right in the center of your garden you'll need a 2x4 bout 5 ft long drove in the groung with a pice of plywood bout 2 ft square nailed on top for a stand for your water sprinkler to set on. set your sprinkler on the top and drive a few nails around it as guides to keep the sprinkler from sliding off the board.

lavon, not really sure about what to do about the deer. my last garden it seemed like rabbits were my biggest problem, they were getting in there just about every night
the walkthrough in the middle is just a walkway, nothing planted there. just threw a little bark mulch down it to retard grass growth a little. i will definitely post pics later on when everything is growing. thanks to your help, i think this may be my best garden yet Cool
jason, the sign is just for show.lol. had all that panel, so i figured i would throw some "Texas style" stuff up on there. since our driveway is a 1/4 mile from the road, i would definitley wonder what someone was doing there though.lol.

When my seedlings were in a little mini greenhouse thingie in the house with a plant light on them, we had to leave town to hunt. I asked  Neighbor Dad if he and his wife would mind babysitting my plants. When he said yes, I hiked the little greenhouse and it's plant light over to him and asked that the plants be talked to while I was gone. Of course, I was joking but he didn't realize that. He had Michelle talking to those seedlings in the afternoons! The plants looked so good when I got back that I left them at the neighbors' for a few more days for extra growth. :O)

Maybe there's something to that "talking to them" deal.

Sean ,, be sure that you dont talk to the male plants the same as the female plants. you have to use reverse sicolegy on the female plants and they'll go ape. just tell the male to just (GITTER DONE) And they'll understand.  Grin

scot told me to write this so i did,,,, Shocked

sean ,,i 'm sure you know how to tell the plants apart ,don't you Embarrassed
