Been around the dog game more than a few years not just the hog dog game but also the Bulldog game for many many years and it never ceases 2 amaze me.   The BS that is out there and that does not necessarily mean dogs that means peodogsple.  I have just about seen it all from people wanting something for nothing ,  2 people trying to screw you,   from the book educated know it alls,  to the rookie worms of the game that are just trying to get started.  It is just unreal .  People peddling dogs that have no idea where they come from how there bred are even what they'll do in the woods it's just a damn shame. Then you got people that want to talk bullnumber 2 behind everybody's back.  These are the worst kind because if they don't have the nuts to say it in a man face but spew chit all over the place every time they open their mouths about this man are that man, these are the kind to avoid .  These are the kind that have alligator mouths and egos that their pea brains and pea bodies can fill.  Sure there is good folks out there and sure there are good honest people but these days they same to be coming fewer and fear.  so all in all keep your good friends close and you best dogs closer and trust no 1 and believe only what you eye see.

Never really thought about it till today but was sitting here thinking how long was I n the bulldogs before I ever sold a dog.   Well I got my first bulldog in late 1979 and got hot and heavy into the dogs around 1981.  From late 79 I Bred my own used my own and never sold a dog are muchless a pup to anyone until about the year of our Lord 2000 and it might have been 2001.  Back in those days dog men and women use what they bred and great bloodlines and great dogs where guarded over like Ft. Knoks.  Any kind of funny business , stealing dogs, talking Boo Koo chit was not tolarated and might get you fed to the Gators and never though of again and there where plenty of men with the means to get it done, nuff said.  Bout the only way to get in with a great well known breeder was to know somebody that was already somebody themselves other wise it was a slim, slim chance in hell it would ever happen and if u did get in then u had to prove yourself are else you would b gone 2 years top.  You didnt come in talkin chit if u did well use your imagination to its fullest.  You earned ur way to the top not bought your way to the top it didnt matter how much money u had that earned respect from your Peirs it was the quality of ur dogs and if u bred them ur self this is what earned u respect.  If you sold dogs back then u had to earn the right to do it and everybody knew who had the respect and who was just full of chit.  Why am I saying all of this I really have no idea just felt like talking today.

The sorry ones outnumber the good, honest, trustworthy people in all walks of life. In the dog world it seems like its one way or the other. Either salt of the earth or a scum bag. Not too many middle of the road.

Yup I knew this would drag the mouth out.  You where told she only had one pup and I was going to keep it your money was sent back late yes sure was I sent it once and you never got it so I had to wait for a search on the money order from the company cant remember how many days had to wait till they confirmed it was uncashed.  Soon as they did sent another and you got it.  If she had more you would have got one but she didnt and you didnt.  Also the dog was not sold til he was nearly a year old started and going the man was in need of a ruff dog and he was a friend so I sent the dog to him.  Which is none of ur damn busness if I did .

A lot of that bad experience stuff you bring on yourself. I enjoy talking dogs with anyone anytime and would love to pick your brain on bulldogs at one time or another, but as far as cur dogs go, you always have a litter for sale and you're always talking them up, nothing wrong with that at all neither, but you're going to get some people that wanna screw you any time you sell the amount of pups and dogs you do. Just all part of it.

Regardless of how long you've done it Jimmy or how much u know people will always have something to say whether they are jam up or suck. All I know is that the one dog I got from you has came out to be everything you told me he would be too the tee but some think if he don't run 20 miles after one hog he ain't worth beans I think if you train him to do what you want he will do just that I had hell getting Rambo to break off a hog and come back but with time and a lot of work I've got him to understand just what I expect from him you can have the best car In town but I can bet some folks just won't like it

The ones that amuse me are the drama addicts.  They always worry  and whine about what everyone else is doing or thinks.    Just be honest, do right, and treat people right, and who cares what everyone else is doing.  If your honest, people that matter will know it.

What's chaps me up is when you get on FB and you see all of these " hog doggers" who wasn't in it 5 yrs ago or won't be in it 5 yrs from now that sell more pups and dogs than they catch hogs in a years time, honor, discipline, and respect are just about all but gone in this game, I hate to say but hog hunting with dogs is on a downward spiral all because if the younger generations and the stuff they put all over WWW for all to see. It's not just FB there's a good bit of them on here as well who comment on just about every post and give people advice but yet you NEVER see them post something they caught. Just last night on FB one of these new to do hog hunters put a post saying " what's up with all these fake a$s hog hunters who own 12 dogs and don't even have a kennel name".... I guess you have to have a kennel name to be a legit hog hunter now a days....

Hog hunting rule #1- you have to have a kennel name. Duh, I mean who hunts hogs w/o a kennel name. Guess me and my partners are getting out, we forgot to name the kennel time to start over. Damn I was just starting to have fun and now I got start over because I don't have a damn kennel name. Wish somebody woulda told me that. Thanks guys I'm going home to name my kennel so I can be a real hog hunter.
