Joanie Winchester and her husband Marcel run Tatonka and it is based off Bert Sorrels blood. Joanie was married to Bert for a number of years. I don't believe Bert is doing any breeding as his age  and health are not friends with him now. He bred good dogs for a lot of years. Joanie has produced a hi number of black and tan or tti-color. I owned some of it in the 80's but went a different way. You do have a breeder there NE of Dallas that got some of Bert's last dogs.

I had some when I was a kid straight from Bert I've got pics in an album some where . But I was wondering anybody ever uses them on hogs?

Sorry, I wasn't much help that way. You might get ahold of Mickey Smith as he has been breeding quite a few of those dogs. You should be able to get him thru the Lone Star APBT Club. Be ready to talk awhile cause he likes to talk!
