I was just wondering what y'all did to keep your dog food from ants, roachs, etc. I use an ice chest but wanted some ideas thanks in advance.

I use thirty gallon, plastic drums. Made lids out of 3/4 inch plywood, with extra weights bolted on to keep stray varmints from knocking them off.

I use a metal garbage can.  I put a thick contractor yard trash bag it in- it will hold two bags of 50 lb dog food.  I spray the outside of the trash can every once in a while with raid ant/roach killer.  I never have a problem as long as I remember to put the lid back on.  I keep the can in my shop next to the dog kennel/

I have used this type for many years...sits under a roof next to the dog kennels...holds about 160 pounds of dog food...they sell one a little larger as well...

This is what I use. I have 4 of them. Barrels work great but trying to get the part out at the bottom sucks. Like this I don't have feed get stale in bottom of barrel.

I use a trash bag in my metal can.  When I get o the bottom, I just take the bag out and empty it into the 5 gallon feed bucket that I use.
