I got a call from a lady having a problem with a boar hog killing some of her calves and she was not having any luck trapping it so she was wondering if I would help her out. I told her I would, and she was wanting to meet with me and my dogs before she decided if I could help her.
Went and met with her the other night and she showed me where the hog was coming on to her property. The dogs were winding something so I told her lets cut the dogs loose and see what they are smelling!

I cut Gator and Blaze loose and they motor into the over grown swamp with oak dead falls, palmettoes, and briars!! Very thick and nasty! The dogs bay solid after about 15-20min! Knew it was a good one if the dogs were baying, so I told her to stay at the truck and if I needed Clyde. I would call her on her phone for her to cut him loose! I crawl, and climb my way to my dogs and when I get there my head light starts to dim, and I cannot see the hog or dogs in the thicket! Call the lady to cut Clyde loose! He comes and slams the boar with the other dogs. Its a good fight in a nasty spot so I crawl in to them and kill the boar!! Prop him up and take a picture then leash the 3 dogs up and drag them out!! What A Struggle getting out with three hot and fired up hog dogs!!

I load up the dogs and show the woman the pictures and she says thats the boar that was killing her calves!! Then she asked if I would go back and bring out his head for her!! Really!! Went back and cut the head off so she could get it mounted for her wall!!

Judge. I asked her to send a picture, we will see if she does!!
Mike. You would think she would be!! She was a different kind of lady. Lived by herself, not to trusting of anyone, and she was in her 70's!! Was very leary having anyone on her place! Got a thank you though!! Lol...

Great job! Great you killed the calf killer. Your dogs did great and it's good you were on top of things to help them.

Thanks guys.
She was a tough older lady. She was wanting to go to the dogs with me, but I asked her to stay at the truck to let Clyde out if needed! Did not want to have to worry about her in that mess!! But she was game to help!
