I think its a good thing as long as its portrayed in the correct manner. All the sometimes unavoidable accidents that can and will happen need to be left in the woods.  I think any and all hog hunting exposure needs to be kept as clean and presentable as possible. For example , i came across a thing on this board somewhere that said to not be posting any graphic pictures or videos. ( cut down dogs, hogs in bad shape etc etc..) i think thats the way it should be. Anything that is even close to the wrong way of doing things will be used as ammunition for the anti hunting folks. Especially when theres cute little harmless dogs in the mix of things. I read somewhere else on the internet where someone was trying to end the bay trials. They were calling them "wild hog fights" or something like that and explaining them to people who dont know any better as just that. Long story short my opinion is if its done the right way then go for it. On the other hand it might get more folks involved in it and i want all the hogs for myself...hahaha

It looks like it says petersens. If it is like the other hunting mag I get from that group they can keep it. Can't near afford to hunt what and where they talk about. I think I will stick with tuskers. Stories about dogs are better than stories about gun hunts to me. God forbid bow hunters get hooked on hog hunting.

Lol where can I get tuskers? They talk a lot about dog hunting? I'd be down for that for sure.

I picked up a copy. As a dog hunter i found no value to the contents. It was definitely targeting the gun hunters. I wish the original bayed solid magazine would come back.

Tuskers is 100% dog on hog magazine. Nearly all articles are submitted by hunters. MIT has been a good read. The cost is $25 a year and it is bi-monthly meaning 6 issues a year. They also cover some of the bay events. Worth every penny to me.
