UNDERDOG and John met me out at one of the neighborhood properties last night to take advantage of this cool weather. We had four young dogs on the ground ended up with a fat, young sow. She went 120# on the scale and the dogs did real good.

Thanks Mike n John, I had a good time....the best part was not getting the pig but the young dogs turning it on,I like the way Tiger and Niko hunt together and it was a great feeling watching Shiner "get it" as far as figuring out what the bay is,kinda like the switch flipped last night. And it is nice to see all them long, hot hunts this summer starting to pay off for the cur pups too.I been on a 3 hunt catchin streak...maybe I am the good luck  Grin

Here is another pic of the pig.

Here is my bulldog pup Shiner @ about 16-17 months old, this hunt was his 5th maybe 6th catch. We sent him to the bay from about 100 yds out.

Does not really matter, I enjoyed it.  That main thing is your young dogs got it done.  You gotta love that.

Cutterbay, I was just foolin round....we all like what we hunt and feed, but really how you describre where you hunt is not much different than were we hunted last night. And don't tell anyone but I have always had a bluetick around most of my life, rather have one of them than a holestien. Wink (I still own a good bluetick coon dog but let my buddy keep and feed him ha ha )

I've seen some of them "painted ponies" that could get it done on swine.  That being said I could never muster up enough nerve to feed one.  What line of bluedog are you hunting?
