Rancher called said he had bunch of sign and we should try to hunt before the rain. So me and my boys called my good buddy ferris tx and we headed out. Dropped the dogs worked around the creek and dogs took off in all direction bout 450 but could not work nothing out. Moved to the next section Ann took off all the other dogs where here and there then Ann opened up but kept moving around then came back I think she was bout .75 then back with us then took of again on the same track this time blue went with her. Mean while the others where 550 in the creek so we where just hanging to see what would happen then Milly was hammering with Ann so we cut off cowboy and bubba put them on the buggy. They where up on a hill in a small field baying bout .65 away cut cowboy and bubba and jake it was silent I said dang it broke so I told ferris to go back and get the buggy. Then I hear bubba baying  I get kinda close 100 yards or so and I hear bubba my son hollering for help I run as fast as I can crash thru the brush and the runs into me flipping me I get up and we thro him. That's when I notice things ain't good Milly was laying down Ann was to I turn to see blue was already gone rip ole boy. Jake and cowboy where caught but cowboy was cut pretty good and pouring blood Ann and Milly where stable so loaded them on buggy bubba was still going nuts on the pig then notice his jaw and neck was jacked up. Jake had not a scratch. We got the pig out hobbled and I rushed on to the vet to save cowboy

Doggone it, man, makes me sick for your loss and hurt dogs, glad they were able to hold that dog killer up long enough for ya'lol to get it out of the woods. Ain't it something how one stinkin hog can be so rank and know how to tear into dogs? Did it look like he'd been caught or dogged before?  Man,, some kinda sorry for your loss

Those dogs did a heck of a job as a dog man / hog hunter you can't ask for more out of your dogs or your hunting buddy. We ain't the best by any means but when the smoke clears I know what I got beside me and I wouldn't trade em for no one
