OKLAHOMA IS TRYING TO FOLLOW SUIT WITH ARKANSAS IN WHAT IS REALLY AN ALL OUT BAN ON HAVING LIVE FERAL HOGS IN YOUR POSSESSION. THIS IS JUST THE START AND IT IS IMPORTANT THAT WE TRY TO STOP THIS NOW BEFORE IT GETS A TOE HOLD. ASK PEOPLE FROM ARKANSAS. THIS MAKES LIFE HARD ON HUNTERS WHICH WILL MEAN FEWER HUNTERS AND MORE HOGS. (SOUNDS GOOD TO ME... BUT THIS IS THE KIND OF ARGUEMENT THAT WILL REACH FARMERS AND LEGISLATORS TO PULL THEM TO OUR SIDE) FOR THE BAY PEN FOLKS HOW YOU GONNA HAVE A BAY WITHOUT A FERAL HOG? ARE YOU GONNA BAY DUROCS? EVERYONE NEEDS TO CALL OR EMAIL THEIR REPS, (OR ALL OF THEM). THIS IS JUST THE FIRST STEP, SO KEEP THEM PHONE NUMBER AND EMAILS IN YOUR CONTACTS! WE WILL BE GETTING A GAME PLAN TOGETHER. PLEASE SPREAD AROUND AND TAG EVERY OKIE HOG HUNTER YOU KNOW http://www.gopetition.com/petitions/revision-of-oklahoma-2015-hb-1104.htmlPLEASE SIGN THE PETITION AND CALL AND EMAIL YOUR OKLAHOMA REPRESENTATIVES!

Why should I trade one tyrant three thousand miles away for three thousand tyrants one mile away? An elected legislature can trample a man's rights as easily as a king can!

I would agree with you, especially when at least 3 Texans and 1 louisiannian resident is contributing from this site. Possibly more that hasn't posted, but either way, the total number so far is sad

#148,, busybody do gooders always have a crusade. And when it proves not to achieve its stated goal, all these folks pushing this legislation will be nowhere to be found, and certainly won't jump up and say they realize they made a mistake.

we all ready have these laws in texas , but they are not enforced . they can pass all sorts of laws but if they don't have the manpower to enforce they are mute . read our hog laws on the TAHC web page and see how they compare to yours . and it's real funny how many texas hog hunters don't know all the laws they are breaking everyday .

Spoke with Justin Roach yesterday on the phone. The bill has been resubmitted without any of the sow or Barr hog transporting stipulations attached. They will now be making people get there handlers facility license in order to transport alive but, it is definitely an improvement on the way the other bill was worded. (There is still a chance this bill gets voted down completely.)
