They are little sacks of skin underneath a hogs neck, about 2 or so inches long, they have one on each side.

i havent caught any but i have seen 2 that people have caught in totaly different areas. i was told it went back to a type of domestic hogs mabey the spanish kind i cant remember.

Yeah I caught one it is the pig in my profile I was told that it it the last true bloodline of the piney wood rooter all I know is he didn't run and he put up heck of a fight

try to google heirloom hogs then click on long meadow ranch to raise heirloom hogs.they tell some about them.

I have caught hogs with waddles and mule footed hogs. I have not caught one with waddles in at least 10 years. The mule footed hogs in my area are thinning out as well.

i hear ya.  we caught one last year with waddles, and 1 mulefooted, but they are few and far between.
