I've got a group of guys going to Galveston in April and we're looking to do a blue water fishing trip (80-100 miles out) Friday and then get up and do an inshore trip Saturday. Been searching on the internet and found plenty of guides, but I was hoping someone on here might give us a recommendation or two on who to contact. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks for the help. Got a number or website? I tried finding them on-line, but all I can find is a bunch of guides that dock at Pier 19.

Captain Tommy Alexander. He's a great guide. He has won the last 2 guides cup which hasn't been done since the 80's. Great guy and has one of the nicest boats around.

He would be for your inshore/ bay fishing. He also knows most every guide around there and could recommend a good one for the off shore fishing. Hope that helps. He has a website but if you need his number I can give it to you.
