had a hunt set up with Rafter F before dark. He calls and said he was leaving the house, I was just starting to load up my dogs. He calls again and yells throught the phone "bring me a Dogo, I am at the county line and just dumped the box on a big boar". Well I grab Adora throw on a vest and tracking collar jum in the truck and haul butt to the county line 4 miles away. I can see Wes's truck off to the north and the phone rings when I answer all I can hear is squelling and dogs baying, he didn't need Adora. I got there just in time to take some pics and help load the hog, off to my place to staple up two dogs, both cut pretty good but not serous.

Well, now we were behind schedule getting to our milo patch, we hunted around it and then Wes walked the dogs out to a lake bed in the middle, hog sign everywhere but we couldn't get a track lined out. We decided to bring the mule next time and try it during the day and ride through the middle, they are out there some where, think I will have to bring Jessie for that one.

Congrats to Wes and his pack, boar went 228# with 2 1/2 inch cutters......He will be posting pics shortly.

Here are the pictures that we got, I was a little too busy to get any action shots before I dispatched him.  The funniest part of this whole adventure, was I saw a car swerve to miss this hog as he ran across the highway about a 1/2 mile ahead of me.

It's not all flat here really, this just happened to be on a turn row between a cotton patch and a CRP field right next to the highway.  If Paul is up to it this winter, we'll see about getting some pictures in some of the rough country during the daylight.  HAHA just kidding about you being up to it Paul, I think it might be if our dogs are up to it.

Thanks for the comments guys, we've been catching several here lately but not much to brag about.  It's about time we caught a good one.

Raider; If I remember correctly, we caught the one that ran over you about 25 yards from where he hit you.  If you serious about needing some more of these dogs, you know how to get ahold of me.    Thanks, Wes
