As of March 12, 2015: There has been a change in dates for the Hog Hunting Competition portion of this second annual event. It will take place April 18-19 with an April 17 registration deadline. The dates for the bay pen competition will remain as previously posted. Please contact event officials for more information.

I will see all of you at the weigh-in this Sunday, April 19th in Gatesville, and I'll have the Boars of Texas chutes on hand and ready to work all of those hogs this year's teams will be bringing in to the 2nd Annual Purple Heart Hog Hunt. Heaviest Five
1st Place- River Bend Ranch 791 pounds $875
2nd Place- Game Stoppers 686 pounds $525
3rd Place - The Real Squeal 655 pounds $350
Big Boar- The Real Squeal 233 pounds $200
Big Sow- Game Stoppers 157 pounds $200
Longest Stringer- 3way tie first team in was River Bend Ranch $175
We would like to say a BIG thanks to all our teams for signing up to hunt our tournament. The weather was not the best but thank each of you for sticking it out. Please all teams come out and join in the fun next weekend I still have the free admission tickets for Last Minute Team, The Rookies, and David Shepperd team please get with me before Saturday if you want them. Again yall are awesome and greatly appreciated. We will post pictures soon.
