This year has been nice. We havnt really hinted that much but when we do they have been solid hunts.

A few weekends ago we made a trip over to Ashbrook island on the Mississippi River. Dogs did good. There weren't near as many hogs as the year before but the dogs still did real nice and we caught a solid 13 in two days of hunting hard.

We rolled behind the house with 4 older dogs and two pups for a quick afteenoon hunt. We had ten tied by dark when briar and my young black gyp left hunting. They went 2.5 miles and bayed a real good hog but typical night stuff it broke when the cd got there. We finally cut the dogs off around 11 pm

On Saturday we went up to Elkhart and hunted a 10k acre ranch on the river. It was obliterated in rooting. We caught 28  by the end of the day. About 8-10 good size hogs and the rest were shoats. We waded through sows and shoats all day. It was really nice considering of the 9 cur dogs we hunted only 2 of them were over 2 years old. The pack is finally starting to come on and get their legs back

Dang good hunts Tony. Glad to see you and Big E back in the woods. We need to try and make a trip down there before it gets warm again.
