Took my spotted dog Peppa, my old bulldog Bo and a young pup out this morning.
Walked for about 3 miles before Peppa struck this hog. She ran it for a bit before it stopped and she was bayed. Walked in about 20 yards away and turned Bo loose. It was a good thing Peppa decided to help because this dude was mean and was trying to whip Bo.  Got the hog caught, filled the backpack with meat and headed out.
Peppa ended up catching a small boar on the way out but I turned him loose to grow and catch another day.
Was a good solo hunt and a boar that tested me for sure.

There our two types of pain: The temporary pain of training or the permenant pain of failure. Choose wisely...

Great hog, good pics.

Good thing they caught on land and not out in the water.  Them walks are a little longer with wet feet and the hogs are little easier to flip on the dry land!

Nice job man.

For some reason I wish they had caught in the middle of the slough... You would have got a taste of what I went through yesterday...  Evil

Lol I still wouldn't have went through what you did.  After Mike said something about the water being cold I was real tempted to post a picture of what you went through. Grin
