I had a full blood red bone that was medium range and loose baying but it doesn't matter if it is a red bone or any other breed There is good and bad in all breeds it depends more on the dog its self and its ancestors

I had a few several years ago nothing to brag about but i was coonhunting them. Id like to find a pup from a good reputable breeder that has good big game redbones someday.

My dogs range 3 to 500 at most. If they hit a track they will roll. They have stayed with one for over 4hours a few times. Most races don't last that long. One is gritty as heck. Latch on set them down gritty. She will catch 200 or less. Fast dog. She is sharp mouth chop . The males range is same bottom is about the same. Loose baying dog. Will nip to stop one. Will catch small pigs. He is a bawl mouth chop bay. They aren't perfect dogs but I like them and like the cross.
