Farmer called me yesterday and wanted me to bring some dogs up to his place in Silverton, three sections of milo that the hogs are mowing down.  He had been in it pretty heavy, and got all his dogs cut down Friday night and needed some help.  Got there about 9pm, put three pups on the ground and loaded three older dogs in his Ranger and took off.  Roaded about two miles and ol' Boots winded one from the Ranger, sent him and he bayed about two hundred yards out in the milo, only barked a couple times and heard a pig squeel  sent Daisey, my Airedale/Pit cross from the ranger,WHACK, caught hog but just a little 30 pounder.  Got back to the ranger, and loaded up Daisey, left three pups and three broke dogs on ground and roaded about another two miles with no luck.  Loaded up dogs and went to the other side, dropped 1 broke dog and 1 pup, went about 500 yards and killed the ranger.  Pup came back pretty quick, then five minutes later Sandy bayed just around the corner from where we were sitting, sent three pups and Daisey to her and caught and little black and white spotted boar about 125 pounds.  Got back to ranger and loaded dogs to go to one last spot, but one pup wouldn't come in, left him on the ground and went about 1/2 mile and he struck a sounder with about 20 pigs that we saw.  One big sow about two hundred pounds broke with Boots and Sandy right behind her, got her shut down about 1/4 mile away, spo we got all the pups gathered up and went to them.  Sent Daisey from 200 yards, waited about 10 seconds, WHACK caught hog, straight ear.  Didn't get any pictures of this hunt, because I forgot my camera, but Paul and I will be back up there soon, and I will definately have a camera.

Everyone can rest assured that I will not forget the camera from now on, I got a converter in my pickup today, and put my charger in the pickup so that is where the camera lives now.
