Do the fellas y'all know doing it use liquid N2 or dry ice? I would like to do it myself, but would like to be educated on it before hand obviously. From what I understand you shave the area to be branded and hold it on for about 25 seconds. It kills the hair pigments and they grow back white? Is it that easy or is there a lot more to it than that?

The guy I know used liquid nitrogen. U should also wipe the area with alcohol before branding. Muzzle dog and be ready to get pissed on. Length of time is adjustable. U have to learn by experience as to what is best.

We'll have someone freeze branding at our VXA event in April. It'll be at the Cowboy church in Gatesville...if anyone is interested.

Ha its not that bad, I wanted to do myself to see how bad it was before I did my dogs.....as you can see I didn't rotate the brand enough and the circle didn't complete and have since had to re do it but the branding itself does not hurt it's from about 2 hours out to 24 hours that get a mild burn to it. My dogs had no issues with it at all! One peed all over us but it was a younger gyp that I think thought we were trying to kill her but other than that they will lay there with a little direction. I held it to my own arm for 30 seconds and it did not hurt at all during that time

Looks cool but also looks like it hurt like hell..lol..i know some boys from highschool that all branded there selves with a big socket...haha... they had been drinking and the "expert" from the group that had branded some stuff before pushed to hard with the socket and it slid across the guys arm leaving a big ass ugly scar. As if the octagon scar on the rest of them idiots wasnt bad enough. Hahaha..those were my "buddies" back then. One guy said for 100 bucks he would put it on his cheek. Nobody let him though. I bet he thanks the lord today that he didn't do that. Jim beam will make a 17 year old do the dumbest crap a person could ever imagine.
