I have an awesome little dogo gyp (ukc reg) that has shown me more promise than many other dogs I have seen. I am looking for a male who has tons of brains and nose with a good disposition around kids and livestock. She has been a great asset to my American Bulldogs from inab and I need more scent dogs hence a need to breed her since I don't use Plotts anymore.

I have 1/2 plott pups in the oven now...
so what made you decide to get out of the plotts if you don't mind me asking? I can relate to the crossing boundaries and not giving it up as a problem for smaller places...my plan is to add enough pit bull to shorten the races...that is my goal...
Are you hunting with catch dogs only? I can see that as working pretty well with todays gps technology...i have thought of that as well but I like the hound/mt cur x pit bull idea...

Training dogs is not about quantity, it's more about timing, the right situations, and proper guidance...After that it's up to the dog... A hunting dog is born not made...

I was down to just my two best and they were taken from my yard on one night that I was home! The Bulldogs and dogos we're kenneled closer to my home. Of all the dogs I have messed with those two Plotts were the best scent dogs around and nothing came close. I would go back to my blood only and there have been a few litters out of dogs born in my yard but apparently the respect I thought was there to even ask if I wanted one wasn't. I use rcd's and the full deal ab's.

God bless and miracles happen. The old way is still the best way. Let a dog open every once in awhile. Want hurt a thing.
