You guys really think these polygraph test work? I don't think they are all they're cracked up to be.

Why no they ain't 100% but flat out saying no poly is asking for people to cheat.

Our club, the Gordon Livestock Booster Club, took over managing and promoting the hunt this year.  It is a fundraiser for the county livestock show kids from Gordon.  We considered hiring a polygraph judge, but decided against it this year due to the expense.  The club felt like that money would be better spent on prizes as well as more money for the kids.  We want it to be a fun event that will continue to grow.  We will be monitoring the weigh in for obvious rules violations.  But, as everyone knows, cheaters are going to cheat.

I hunted your hunt the first year, so I'm speaking from experience. You guys spending the money on a poly will draw more teams, therefore increasing your revenue in the end. I don't think many people will spend their hard earned cash without a poly being present. Doesn't catch everything, but helps.

The buckles are in from Lonestar Silversmith!  They turned out really nice.  Also, a custom bar-bq pit has been donated as a 1st place main event prize.  Registration deadline is this Friday at 5 pm.  A lot of cash, prizes, and gear up for grabs.  A hog buyer will be on-site to purchase your catch.  We will be providing a free bar-bq lunch to all hunters.  Check out our Facebook page for pics and more info (gordontxwildhoghunt).  Thanks!
