I am a machinist for Union Pacific railroad, the job I hold is road mechanic. If there is a problem with a locomotive I work on it.

Was a farmer till some outa staters came in offering way more cash rent than it was worth. Rented ground from under me. Unable to find enough ground in 3 months had to sell out. Went to work for local New Holland dealer selling and servicing autosteer on tractors. I am now outside equipment sales for the same dealer. So if y'all need a tractor I can fix u up. Lol

Is it only new holland tractors u sell? Thats really chitty they undercut you on the land. I wonder how people like that sleep at night. As screwed up as their morality compass is, its a miracle they can find their way from their house to their vehicle everyday

They were insurance farmers. Offered big rent payed half up front never planted an acre. Took the insurance payment and filed bankruptcy. Landlord ended up getting $50 less an acre than I offered plus is still looking for someone to work the whole place like I was. Now instead of 1 tenant they have 4 to deal with.  Oh well. Good lord puts ya where he wants ya.

Yes we only sell New Holland Tractors. From 25-700HP.  We sell lots of other implements from different MFG plus zero turn mowers and treager grills.

I am a firm believer that money is the most important thing in life out side the life and death of family and friends. The key to life of no greed is to respect others money as much as you respect yours and then money is no issue just that easy

They did what they did that was their choice. I did what I had to. I see it like this. God has a plan for us all. His plan may not match our plan. If he lays the path before me I follow it. I have made it this far like that I will make it to the end as well. We have food, shelter and smile and laugh daily. What else can u ask for . The rest will fall in place in time. Each step of my life has ended in a step forward. May have had to step back or side step a few times but still moving forward. Smiley

Have you used one of the smokers yet? There is a manufacturing business up here near Portland where I work and our company buys them smokers for us field mechs. I have yet to use ours since we have not yet gone to the field (hopefully 1 May we will be away from the hanger on our fire contract) so I don't know much on them other than they are a fuel pellet style smoker, and from some of the guys I work with that have their own, it smokes a mean brisket, chicken, salmon and pork roast. I just can't get past the price of them for wht they are, an electric smoker. What happens when the power is out? That's why I stick with my old fashion wood burning smoker/grill. Last summer our a/c went out and it was 98-102F in my house, so I cooked on the grill 10 out of the 12 days our a/c was out

I've had a Traeger for a few yrs and really like it. It is kinda cheatin the smoking but I use it for everything. Never had the power out for more than a few hrs. It does a good job. I just added some metal to my hopper to make it bigger for when I do pork butt overnite.

I was a salesman for many years.

Now I do what I want to do which includes playing with my dogs, hunting, fishing, drinking coffee with my buddies, and working in my shop.

Lately I have been doing a few upgrades to my boat so I can go fishing on the coast about every other week.
