Thank you all for your concern and your prayers. Makes me sick I won't be at the Veterans Xtreme Adventures bay on the 25th. Tasha and Travis Baker and I have worked real hard to make this event something special....and it still will be...it'll be worth the trip out even if your not a fan of the bay pen scene. They're will be mutton bustin for the kids and goat roping and wild boar ballet for the "big kids", lol. Plus vendors and good food...it's a good clean family event.

Just a little update on me...my L4 vertebrae was pretty much shattered and I will probably be going under the knife next week sometime. I'm man enough to say it...I'm a bit concerned. I can't really walk unassisted right now...I sure hope that changes.

Well boys....after another day of laying in bed...and pretty much insisting they start giving me Motrin (anti-inflammatory)...which you would think would have been given from the get go....when the therapist came yesterday I was able to stand and walk (with a brace and walker) with out just a ton of pain. I probably walked a good 100 feet. I was still a bit wobbly but I tell you...it was a load off my mind being able to at least do that. I REALLY appreciate the prayers and positive vibes sent my way.
