it can take years to find what we like in a hunting dog...the best thing is get you a gyp from a great line and breed her to a great dog and keep most of the pups...

I  been trying to get me a good pack going since about 2009 and just now am feeling ok about what I have...three decent dogs and 7 pups on the ground right now that I am a little excited about...they are 3 days old today and I just bobbed their tails so that aught to make them better performers...  Grin  Wink

Thanks for the encouraging words Judge.There's gotta be a foundation for anything you build and I think I'm getting the foundation laid right now.

Reuben you dang sure know them bobtails make em hunt way better.

I'm kinda partial to long ears, flag tails, and racin stripes.   Lol
