I was in the Costco in Duncanville. South of Dallas for those not from here. They had a guy selling Kamado Joe. They are those ceramic grills. I know the Costco price is always the lowest. But I want to know who has cooked on one. Do they really work as good as that guy said?

I've cooked on them before and they really do cook well but I'm not sure I would spend the $700-$1k on one.

my thoughts on the matter , if your cooking with gas you might as well cook in the house .

lol ok I just looked them up , you should have said [ big green egg ] and I would have known what they were . I still wouldn't spend that kind of money for something you couldn't put a whole hog on and smoke it . but basically it's all about holding smoke and heat and a good iron smoker will do the same thing .
