Will American Pharaoh win the Belmont next Saturday? Why is he going to win or not win?

He will win if, he has no bad luck and gets to run his race. You can put this horse any place you want him with his high cruising speed and he rates really well and stays relaxed. If he were mine, I would let him take the lead, relax, slow them down and wait 'till someone challenges. I think he will win by ten. He has had two very impressive easy works since the Preakness. He has held his weight good and Baffert says his energy is high and shows no sign of being tired.

I agree with what you said...I am not a horseman but he has that smooth action...like no energy is wasted...he is slender enough to make the long race...and like all laid back mammals...he will rise to the occasion...because he is a champion...

Today is the day...My bet is on American Pharaoh...Bob Baffert says the colt is holding ip a good weight and looking good...Baffert has had a shot at the triple crown 3 times in the past and I hope today is the day...he was a very successful quarter horse racing trainer before he crossed over to the thoroughbreds...I believe he has the feel for bringing out the best in a race horse...

This race can go to any horse on account it is 1.5 miles and there are horses entered that are well rested...

Well If he doesn't win it I sure hope it isn't one of those fresh horses brought in just for this race. I hope he does it, it's nice to see the grain raise above the chaff!

The jockey just said the same thing I was saying about his moving action...smooth smooth...the horse made history...

I missed it. He only won by 5 1/2 instead of 10.

His racing career is over. He will now go to the stud barn. He goes back to Secretariat. I would be finding top mares bred close to Secretaiat to breed to him. Secretairiat had the longest stride ever recorded. They talked about what a long stride American Pharaoh.I have not heard if they syndicated him or not.

There is too much money in syndicating him to take a chance on getting him hurt.

And just think the owners sold that horse at action and bought it back for 300k. I liked the horse just a good solid horse. I found it interesting they kept talking about how easy going the horse is and how it could be a family horse. Gonna go in the history books with a misspelled name and all. Lol
