Looking to see what's out there for metal hanging dog feeders, like the sheep and pig feeders but can't find any that are metal. What are y'all using that have plasting chewing dogs? Clip ins at tsc won't hold bowls in place....

I use the metal scoops that are one the grain elevators conveyor belts. I had them sandblasted and coated.

I used one like this years ago and it worked pretty good...it is enclosed to keep the birds out...the dog opens it with his snout when wanting to eat...

but I like feeding my dogs daily...I let them run while I clean and wash down the kennels...I take this time to sort of train dogs but mainly pups to my call, simulating calling them out of the woods and to gunfire etc...etc...so that is why I prefer feeding daily...

I think there around $25.  I know the owner Gale used to set up and sell them and a bunch of other stuff each year at Uncle Earls.  I know he passed away a couple years back, so I'm not sure if they still go to Louisiana or not...but I think they are still in business.  When I bought mine, I ordered 30 of them so we worked out a price and he crated them all up and sent common carrier.

I prefer plastic, these come in doubles and just take a hack saw and cut it then you have two. And it's not to big so when your wife feeds she can't over feed to much, lol

I use the same thing and enjoy them! Just didn't go the extra step of sand blasting and coating. Here's a few pics of mine I'll try to remember to get some better ones tomorrow.
