I know this has been stomped on over and over. Just sharing my experiance. I was feeding ol roy high performance for about 2 years. Finally got fed up with feeding so much to keep my stock fat. So I tried diamond high energy for two months. Fed same amount, all dogs started to stink. My kennels smell like a dead hole, and twards the end, my dogs wouldn't eat it. They would smell it, I could see they were hungry and just wouldn't eat it. Only one of my younger dogs was eating it, but he'd eat anything lol. So.. I switched to sportsmix black bag. End of story, I'll drink one to that!

I have fed Sportsmix for the last 13 yrs,, but it has gone up dramatically since the beginning.  I am now paying 29.97 for 50 pds where it was just 24 about 6 months ago.  When I first started to use it ,, it was only 21 dollars a bag.

I started feeding Sportmix when it was $12 a bag, now it's damn near $30 haha! Tried all the others over the years but nothing compared to the Sportsmix except Victor. Fed it for a couple of years until the price shot thru the roof and went back to Sportsmix.

I couldn't take the hype anymore so tried victor this past winter and after paying more $$$ for less feed I switched back to sportmix because I didn't see any improvement in dogs.

I like the diamond naturals, not diamond high energy, but natrals. I have tried different brands here and there but always end up back with the diamond naturals, I know they'vehad recalls , I believe they've had all they can stand of paying out tons of money for bad feed and figure they'dhave to shut down or tighten up. One thing I notice about this feed is the dog will sustain his weight even if you have to cut back on the food ( I'm dirt poor and have to ration them every now and then). They won't loose their weight, which I really like. No I don't starve my dogs I just have to cut them way back from time to time or there won't be enough until I get another bag.  And all these dogs always look good.

the sportsmix in the black bag is good...the blue bag I fed for many years and the dogs were getting to where they didn't maintain weight in the cold winter days unless I fed them quite a bit more...the diamond high energy is slightly less and I feed less and the dogs maintain good weight in the winter and I cut them back some in the summer...less food less poop...

I've fed sport mix black bag and Victor red bag, for many many years between the two and my dogs do better on Victor. When sport mix started offering the 55 pound bag I started mixing 2 red bag of Victor to 1 black bag of sport mix and will keep doing it until they stop offering the 55 pound.

I feed Showtime 24/20 & it is about like the Diamond Hi-Energy feed. Been feeding it about a year & so far pretty satisfied with it.

I have always fed the blue bag in the summer and the black in the winter.. I have 5 head rite now and a 50 pd bag lasts me for 10 days.  that's about 1 pd of dog food/dog a day.. And they hold up great in the summer.  I do have to feed more to em in the winter..

Im having pretty good luck on the purple bag of victor i did feed purina but it seems theyve went down hill. Iv got some yeast sensitive dogs and the victor seems to help with that. Im feeding quite abit less now and could probaly cut back more except on my catch dog he is a busy body. I scoop poop once a week and its usually a pile maybe two.
