Anyone ever had any luck with mitaban? It's a dip for red mange. One of my good young dogs has it. I know of a dog that had 5 dips every week and hasn't lost any hair in a year. I don't want to loose the dog unless I just have no choice

Mr. Mason turned me on to this stuff a few years back. It kills the mites good and if you can get the dogs immune system built up good they can fight them off on their own.

Might also try Hibaclense Ray.

You can buy it over the counter and will clear up alot of the bacteria skin infections.

X2 on the Ivomec...if it is a blood sucking mite which they are..then they will die...

1.5 ccfm of  ivomec under the skin for an average sized cur
dog and 1cc a week later and again 1 cc a week after that...that has worked for me...

Oops. Sorry Haelee. Have had a couple dogs with skin bacteria issues that will mimick mange. That stuff will clear them right up.  Hopefully it would help in your situation.

Man I have tried everything. Except the amitraz. Ivomectin, sulfur antibiotics(didn't think it was the mange at first), pour on Ivomectin, prolate lintox which made her hair come back them she lost is again after k hunted her.  Am probably some more i can't remember. Bad part about it have 2 of these pups. Delbert jones had given to me. Darlin(sick one) at 8 weeks the other a couple months ago. I'd rather darlin be fine and the other had it if you know what I mean. They are spivey, billy Ray loving, exc bred real nice. The darlin dog was in the woods at 7 months and started loosing her hair the 3-4th time in hunted her.
