Was going down the guest at 70 mph...running smoothly. ..truck just shutdown...will crank but not start...added starting fluid to air intake and it started until it ran out and then it dies again...does anyone have any ideas?

I just now thought of the programer..will check out...
Computer not picking up any codes...

Sounds like a cps (camshaft position sensor) to me.

They say it is not letting them communicate...they think it is a short or something along those lines...all fuses are good...they are mapping out the wiring system

Back on the road again. ..a circuit board came loose in the computer. ..no parts needed. ..only labor. ..

Yea Halfbreed...they were real nice folks...seems they catered to the poor folks...I heard him tell a young couple...take the car and pay me the rest on payday...lots of old folks coming and going out of that shop...they also charge less than the going rate...one of the two owners told me...treat the customers fair and they will keep us in business...
right away they told me to unload the dog and tie her under the tree and give her water...

I am grateful we lucked out and picked the right shop...everyone there were very nice folk...

I would start with a Crack sensor there none to do that
