We got this email the other day and now I would like to pass it on...we need to support FedX and order through them as much as possible...showing them support and an increase in business will send a message loud and clear to the Anti-everything's...yea...

It pains me every time I see Cecil the lion’s face in the news because it reminds me how he was killed – lured out of his protective home in a national park and shot without a fighting chance. Trophy hunting is cruel, and it must end.

I know I am not alone in how I feel because over one million people signed a petition asking for justice for Cecil, and nearly 400,000 signed a petition asking Delta to ban shipments of hunting trophies. Soon after Cecil’s death, Delta Air Lines announced they would ban the shipments of the top five most prized trophies, all of which are seriously endangered – lions, leopards, elephants, rhinoceros, and buffalo. And United Airlines and American Airlines quickly followed with similar shipping bans.

But FedEx, the largest shipping company and cargo airline in the world, is still shipping hunting trophies, like Cecil. In response to Delta’s ban, FedEx publicly stated that they still consider hunting trophies “legitimate shipments.” As long as FedEx continues to ship endangered and threatened animals, trophy hunting can continue.

Please sign my petition asking FedEx to stop supporting the destruction of endangered wildlife by banning the shipment of hunting trophies.

If FedEx bans the shipment of hunting trophies, it will become a whole lot harder for trophy hunters to send their kills home. As the largest shipping company in the world, FedEx has an opportunity to become a global leader on this issue and protect wildlife around the world.

And if this happens, we could work toward ending trophy hunting altogether.

Join me in calling on FedEx to join this movement and ban the shipment of all hunting trophies.

Thank you,

Katie needs to mind her own dam business and she should be slapped.

Those countries make money off of those hunts (as part of their national income) and as far as I know, tribes eat the meat; so nothing goes to waste.  And it anyone thinks it is "mean" to raise an animal to be killed by a hunter- there isn't any different in raising a cow, chicken, or pig to kill and put on a dinner table somewhere.

Just because someone makes a mistake does not give the right to shutdown trophy hunting nor the shipping of...they tried banning transporting hunting shotguns and rifles...now they are looking for any to shutdown hunting and hunting guns...

I see it just as a DUI or speeding ticket or breaking the law for whatever reason...pay the fine/penalty and move on...

There needs to be a ban on the conseption of stupid people such as katie and people like her. Since delta, united and american are the only 3 airlines that fly in and out of home for me, i have no choice but to use those airlines, and since my employer pays for my tickets, i dont really have much of a say on what airline i fly on. But if it were up to me, i would find and use a different airline for my air travels.

who is that lady? I dont support sport hunting for endangered species, but cape buffalo and leopards are far from endangered. If they can prove that guy lured that lion off the reserve and broke the law, they should make an example of that hunter and moreso that outfitter. Elephants and rhinoceros face a bleak future but not at the hands of trophy hunters, Its the asians buying all that ivory to get their johnson up! as long as ivory is worth money, poor africans are going to kill for it...scapegoating fedex is death by a thousand cuts strategy to hunting and the right to bare arms.
