Anybody have any Howard dogs? I'm waiting on a set of papers on a pup a good friend gave me. Parents are good dogs , I was just curious as to the pros and cons (if any) on the old Howard dogs. Thanks for looking !!

Heck yeah . Long as he don't mind a phone call, I love to talk dogs, I'm just crazy fascinated with the history of these cur dogs. Aman I love to get on the phone with is John Ross. He sure don't mind talking and I could, and have talked dogs with him for hours.

Spent a few hours at John Wayne's kitchen table. He sure enjoys a good conversation. I use to live just a few miles from him. I like to hear the older guys theory's on dogs and situations. Zeal ways good to bounce my thinking off of to see if I'm still on the right track.

This little pup is only 10 or 11 weeks old, he'll bay the hair off the yard cat and give my cows a hell of a time (at a distance , lol) maybe he'll make a dog.
