"I know this is a hog dog website and I'm wearing a coon hunter shirt .. But this is my new bird dog " Hahaha, thanks for the laugh Chris that was pretty good. Baconchaser, I don't know how everybody else does, but I post pics the same on every site and it works fine here; Set up a Photobucket.com account for free. Upload your pictures to photobucket, then on each picture you'll see a little tab in the top left corner of each picture. Put your mouse over that tab and click on the one that says "Share" and then a box will pop up. Click under the box that says "IMG" and it will copy the link. In your message here on the board, right click in the reply box and pick "paste". It will paste the link that you copied from photobucket, and the picture will show up in your post. Sounds complicated, and I'm sure my directions are clear as mud, but that will let you post a photo into every message board I've been on. That is how I posted this pic anyhow

I wish I could figure out how to post pics could someone help a fellow out
If you have a smart phone the easiest way to post pictures is thru the tapatalk app, it is an app that makes looking at and using forums on your cell phone much easier. download it and find ethd through the app. It is pretty self explanatory. that would be your best bet

I am currently feedin pups out of the same dogs ive had for a few years, sadly they are all gone. The best dog i ever owned "smoke" died while hunting back in february at 13yrs old, his littermate sister was shot by some asshat last month when she got loose from the house. My 2 oldest dogs are both 2.5yr olds out of smoke. This is slick, he is my pride and joy dog wise, he is exactly what I wanted to produce when I initially bred his daddy, he is a mirror image of his dad from his looks to his huntin style. He is independent in the woods and doesnt mind goin deep to find one, he hits the ground running and so far has been a hard hunting dog. He has a bright future in my yard. This is skeeter, slicks littermate brother, he is bigger, taller and leaner than his brother and has also been a good young dog but he doesnt have quite as much woods sense as his brother. He is rank, he has on more than one occasion caught a hog that I would have preferred to use a bulldog on but surprisingly enough he doesnt curr out, if he initially catches it he stays hung. He has the sense to sit back and bay a hog the majority of the time but gets a little ignorant here and there and has payed for it more than once but it hasnt slowed him down much. I think with more woods experience he will turn out pretty solid. This next gyp hasnt been to the woods yet, she just turned a year old, i usually start them earlier but due to my work schedule this year i did not have much time, she will get ample opportunities this spring. She is closely related to slick and skeeter, her daddy is smokes nephew owned by the man that i got my original dogs out of this line from. She has a great demeanor and wants to please, it wont take much to get her going, she gets down on our penned hog and bays head to head. She is built perfect in my eyes, we will see This is my bulldog, love this little gyp. Great manners and smart And last but not least, these are 2016s prospects, both males are out of smokes sister and a brindle dog i used to own named camo, the blood is there, we will find out this spring if its mixed right or not

Thanks everybody. Y'all sure got some good looking dogs. I might be a lil partial to Plotts but that pic. Oconee took of both dogs treeing together, it just don't get much better then that. Alvin who is that dog on the right, your current lead dog.

Cajun, I had better correct myself before Sherry reads that. That's "Sherry's lead dog" that she lets me hunt. Ha ha ha. Its Si, Mike!
You've snuck a few new ones in on me, what the Clyde and Jack dogs?

Clyde is the same cross as Nathen's dogs but a year younger. He is running & treeing good. Probably have not heard that much about Jack. He is a nice bear or hogdog. Bred almost identical to the Bosco dog but he opens a lot more on a cold track & I like that. He is a very gritty dog with a big mouth. Flash is off Spud who was killed last winter. He came into his own this past winter & like Spud,if a hog wants to run he has the top end to stay with him. Dixie is about 14 months old. I sent her to Wisc. for their training season, picked her up on my way to Canada. She has done nothing but improve & she hit the ground running. On the other hand I had a year old dog that ran great but would not tree on bear & I let a friend have him because he loves a hog.

Lol yes sir... Went from pet to CD back to pet. Just came to the conclusion that I couldn't do without him and wouldn't want him going out in the field, especially after loosing my T dog that he was brought up behind. I still see a lot of her in him, and it makes me smile. Good to see you back on.

Ketch is 3/4 pit & 1/4 Dogo. He weighs about 85#. Coming up on 4 yrs. We thought we were going to have to retire him. We caught a big boar right before summer & he cut his right frt. pad in two, severing the tendon & on the back right leg, the boar bit him doing nerve damage. His back leg flops over now. We did use him today on a big sow & he manhandled her pretty easy. I will have to get a boot for the back foot however.
