I've had and seen some straight cats that were top of the line dogs compared to any breed, but you had to give them until they was 2 years old before they turned it on.

That's been my experience, late to mature and late to turn on

A little off topic but later maturing usually means smarter, not in all cases, look at humans for instance, smartest mammals in existence but the latest maturing, maybe same can be said with dogs, would be something worth looking into and keeping track of when we raise whole litters.

Ya goose kinda can match us to dogs if you think it thru. Smart kids usely are spotted 7 to ten yrs of age dog terms one yr old. The even smarter kids once again shine in high school dog terms 2 to 1/2 yrs of age. The smartest peek out at 30 or so dog terms 4 or 5 yrs of age the truly great ones keep progressing till 70 yrs of age dog terms ten after that the down ward spiral starts. That's how you should look at your dogs.

Judge,
They come out of the back woods in central LA.
No papers, just some dogs that's be been in the little community a long time, but the way things are now there is only about 2 or 3 people that's got any left.

Most of them had pretty good jugs. You would get a few slim headed ones
